Tucked upstairs on Gertrude Street, The Everleigh is a cocktail bar that takes its craft seriously without taking itself too seriously. The bartenders know their spirits inside out and the house cocktails are consistently excellent — each one balanced, considered, and beautifully presented.
The space feels like a 1920s parlour in the best possible way: dark timber, low lighting, and leather banquettes that you sink into and don't want to leave. It's the kind of bar where you go for one drink and stay for three.
Right on the 86 tram line, it's a short hop from Smith Street and a natural stop on any Fitzroy bar crawl.
