Andrew McConnell's Supernormal has been a Flinders Lane anchor since 2014. The menu draws from across Asia — Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Southeast Asian — but never feels like it's trying too hard. The lobster roll is rightly famous, and the dumplings are consistently some of the best in the CBD.

The space is slick and energetic, with a long bar perfect for solo dining and bigger tables for groups. It walks the line between casual and refined effortlessly.
